
Indian Butter Chicken
A creamy, richly spiced North Indian chicken curry cooked in tomato-butter gravy.

- Marinate chicken: In a bowl, combine chicken cubes, yogurt, a pinch of turmeric, red chili powder, and salt. Let it marinate for at least 30 minutes (or up to 2 hours).Cook onions: In a pan, heat oil + butter. Add chopped onions and sauté till golden brown.Add ginger-garlic & spices: Add ginger-garlic paste, slit green chili, and sauté until raw smell goes. Then add red chili, coriander, turmeric.Tomato puree: Pour in tomato puree, cook until oil separates.Add chicken: Add marinated chicken and cook for 5–7 minutes, stirring gently.Cream & kasuri methi: Add fresh cream and crushed kasuri methi, simmer for 5 minutes.Garnish & serve: Garnish with fresh cilantro.
