Ingredients
  

  • 100 g dark chocolate (around 70% cocoa)
  • 100 g unsalted butter
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 tbsp all-purpose flour
  • 1 tbsp vanilla extract

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven: Set to 200°C (390°F). Grease 4 small ramekins with butter and dust lightly with flour.
    Melt chocolate & butter: In a heatproof bowl, melt chocolate and butter together (microwave in 20-second bursts or use a double boiler). Stir until smooth.
    Mix wet ingredients: In a separate bowl, whisk eggs, sugar, and vanilla until pale and slightly frothy.
    Combine: Gently fold the melted chocolate mixture into the egg mixture.
    Add dry ingredients: Sift in flour and salt. Fold gently until smooth — do not overmix.
    Fill ramekins: Divide batter evenly among ramekins, filling about ¾ full.
    Bake: Bake for 10–12 minutes. The edges should be firm, but the center soft.
