Chicken Tikka Masala

Ingredients
  

  • 500 g Chicken breast (cubed) Boneless
  • 2 tbsp Yogurt Plain, full-fat
  • 1 tbsp Ginger-garlic paste Fresh
  • 1 tbsp Garam masala
  • 1 tbsp Turmeric powder
  • 2 tbsp Oil Vegetable or ghee
  • 1 Onion Freshly chopped
  • 2 tomatoes, pureed

Method
 

  1. Marinate chicken: Mix chicken cubes with yogurt, ginger-garlic paste, garam masala, turmeric, and salt. Let sit 10 mins.
    Cook chicken: Heat 1 tbsp oil in pan, add marinated chicken, cook 5-7 mins until browned. Remove and set aside.
    Sauté base: In same pan, heat remaining oil, add onion, cook until golden (3 mins).
    Add spices: Stir in tomato puree, simmer 5 mins until oil separates.
    Combine & simmer: Return chicken, add cream, simmer 10 mins on low. Garnish with cilantro.
    Serve hot with naan or rice.
